If you are sick of your formerly brighter and faster Windows 10 for being slower now, there may be different factors contributing to make it slower. Well! Whatever is the reason.

You need to make it faster as it was earlier when you installed it. Here is how you can make it faster by putting a little pep back to its former shine.

Use Disk Cleanup Utility (Most Working Solution)
Disk cleanup utility improves the performance of your system and also gives you more space on the drive. It deletes all of the junk files, delivery optimization files and other temporary files littering the drive. It is how you can run this utility.

Go to the “Control Panel” and select “Administrative Tools” from here.

In the list of tools, double-click “Disk Cleanup” to choose the drive you want to clean. Usually, it is “C” drive where you install Windows. That’s why you need to select “C” drive from here.

Disk Cleanup will start calculating the space you can free up. Wait for a while until it completes the process of calculating the space it will free up.

Once the Disk Cleanup window opens, you need to check all of the checkboxes delete these files from the C drive and select “OK.”

A confirmation message appears on the screen where you need to select “Delete Files” to delete them permanently.
It’s amazing! You will experience a better performance of Win 10 now. Isn’t it cool?

Disable the Transparency of Colors
When the transparency is toggled on, it occupies some disk resources. Hence, by toggling it off, you can make Win 10 a bit faster. Do the followings to disable it.

Go to the “Start” menu and select “Settings” from here.

In the Settings Menu, click “Personalization” to move ahead.

Here, in the left pane, choose “Colors” to display its menu in the right pane. Scroll down the page and turn off the “Make Start, Taskbar, and action centre transparent” option.

You need to select “Power Options” from the next window. Now check which plan you have recently selected.
